Responsible for the application of standard statistical methods for conducting analysis and preparing reports.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Data harmonization, cleaning, and other data management duties
Conducts statistical analyses and reports.
Supervises the routing tabulation of data; edits and analyzes the final material in the form of reports and records, including detail and summary tables, graphs, and charts.
Performs various statistical analyses from both large and small samples of data.
Tests data for sampling errors and for significance differences between samples.
· Writes/edits professional research documents, to include but not limited to grant proposals, contracts, and manuscripts
· Provides direction in grant writing and report preparation to faculty and principal investigators
· Reviews and edits grant applications, consent forms, research material, and protocol forms
· Assists with preparation ofconference presentations, and publications, which may include preparing PowerPoint slides
· Maintains in a database information, to include but not limited to grant proposals, contracts, manuscripts, consent forms, research material, and protocol forms
· Participates in faculty workshops to provide direction in grant writing and report preparation
· Assists faculty with presenting information when transitioning to new areas of research
· Participates in training programs to provide direction in grant writing, manuscript preparation, and data presentation
· Participate in a systematic review of recovery support services
· Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Demonstrates proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
Experience in data analysis of large administrative datasets (claims, registries, EMR) and observational studies.
SAS experienced preferred.
Master’s degree in related health science. PhD preferred.
Two years of statistician experience.
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
