The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health invites applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level in El Paso. The position available is affiliated with the Center for Community Health Impact, a newly established research center at the El Paso Regional Campus.
Position Key Accountabilities:
This successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a research program in community health related to metabolic health, healthy eating, and active living.
Ideal candidates will have experience being part of multidisciplinary research teams in community health. Candidates should have an earned doctoral degree with an emphasis in areas such as translational research, implementation science, biostatistics, nutrition, exercise science, obesity, epidemiology, or health promotion/behavioral science. An established track record of research publications and external research funding is required.
