McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics-Allergy/Immunology.

The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other service.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Assistant Professor in Pediatrics-Allergy/Immunology will provide direct patient care in a clinic and hospital setting.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensives services in allergy and immunology.

  • Allergy skin testing, asthma management, and allergy shots.

  • Collaborating with other pediatric pulmonary specialist and the patient’s primary care provider.

  • Participating in the education and training of medical students and residents.

Qualifications :

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Applicants must be Board Certified or eligible to be board certified.
