McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics-Rheumatology. The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other service.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Assistant Professor in Pediatrics-Rheumatology will provide direct patient care in the clinic and hospital setting. The candidate should be responsible for diagnosing and treating children with a spectrum of rheumatic diseases along with participating in the education of medical students and residents.
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Applicants must be Board Certified or eligible to be board certified.
