The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Division of Oncology in conjunction with Memorial Hermann Hospital and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital is recruiting for an Assistant or Associate Professor to serve as a full-time faculty focusing on Malignant and Benign Hematology in Houston.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The position involves building a robust clinical program in collaboration with UT Health faculty and UT Physicians outpatient clinics, the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center and LBJ Hospital. Participation in research working group activities and tumor boards is expected. Teaching opportunities will be available. The Division of Oncology at UTHealth benefits from an association with the Memorial Hermann and Harris Health Hospital System. Selected candidates will be members of established clinical and translational research programs within the University of Texas Memorial Hermann Cancer Center. Please note that UTHealth Oncology does not have a Bone Marrow Transplant program at this time.
Board certified or eligible in hematology and strong clinical training and experience in all current treatment modalities. Academic rank and salary will be based on previous experience.
