The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track 1.0 FTE faculty position in the Dental Hygiene program, within the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene, at the Assistant/Associate or Professor level based on the individual’s qualifications.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Pre-clinical and clinical teaching to dental hygiene students.
-Baccalaureate degree working toward a masters or doctorate
-Registered dental hygienist with current Texas licence or eligibility
-Prior private practice and teaching experience
A masters degree and a background in education theory and practice.
Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working or interacting with students, faculty and staff from a diverse background and be willing to contribute to our commitment to inclusion and equity.
This is a security sensitive position and thereby subject to Texas Education Code # 51.215. A background check and drug screen will be required for the final candidates.
