McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Assistant/Associate Professor, Non tenure clinical track faculty position in the Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging, Section of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
The selected candidate will contribute to the quality and excellence in service to our patients and to our community. Our Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging supports a broad spectrum of healthcare needs and provides the educational and research initiatives of a radiology department at the forefront of modern medicine. This is made possible through our affiliation with our teaching hospitals, Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center and the Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center is a certified level one trauma center within the Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center. The Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital is our affiliated county hospital within the Harris Health System. Teaching is fundamental to our mission and we are proud of the well-recognized qualifications of our faculty.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Assistant/Associate Professor will provide direct patient care and supervision of residents and fellows in clinic and hospital settings, while providing and participating in the education and training of residents and fellows. Supporting the research mission of the department and university, our faculty and our physicians in our training programs actively participate in national and international educational and research activities.
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Required or preferred board certification/eligibility statement. Diagnostic Radiology Residency, Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology and training in Pediatric IR desirable

Preferred applicants will possess knowledge or skills in their field of specialty, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
