Position Summary:

Provides instructional and program electronic-delivery development support for in-house academic courses, distance education and outreach education efforts. Works under close supervision.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  1. Provide design and production advise to faculty in conversion of courses to electronic delivery basis for basic or small to medium programs.

  2. Designs, develops, implements and maintains basic curriculum layout in electronic formats including web-based, CD-ROM and video.

  3. Facilitates and trains faculty and students in the effective uses of basic on-line/web-based distance- teaching technologies for both live interaction and “on your own time” learning.

  4. Other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

MS Office software.

On-line course management development software.

Client/customer focus.

Good interpersonal skills.

Preferrerd Skills:

  • Experience building online coursework using Articulate Storyline

  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop to alter/color correct images and Illustrator to adjust vector images

  • Experience cropping voice-over work using Adobe Audition or other audio editing software.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Minimum Experience:

Three (3) Years of experience preferably in on-line course management development software.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
