The Divisions of Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern MedicalSchool at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is seeking applicants for full-time staff physician positions. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Critical Care and/or Pulmonary Medicine and be eligible for licensure in State of Texas.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The division manages a multidisciplinary intensivist program at a 900-bed level 1 trauma center, along with a 280-bedcounty level 3 trauma center. Inpatient services involve management of over 120 critical care beds in medical critical care, cardiac critical care and transplant critical care, which provide an excellent opportunity for teaching, clinical research and caring for diverse patient populations.
There are 9 ambulatory practice locations in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine throughout the Houston area. The Division includes30Faculty members and supports21fellows in the Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship program, and2fellows in the Sleep Medicine fellowship program.
