The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School, invites applications for a full-time, (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track for Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor for General Anesthesia.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students the skills and theory of this specialty and clinical activities in the operating room.


The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Preferred board certification in Anesthesiology. Candidates should have a M.D. degree, four years of training: 1 year of internship in any accredited internship program and 3 years of anesthesiology residency.

Candidate should possess excellent clinical skills. Simulation teaching would be a great plus.
